These services are not considered medically necessary and so they are not covered by the BC medical services plan. A referral is not required; please contact the clinic directly.

Here is a list of benign, bothersome skin growths
Skin Tags
Small pedunculated growths that arise often on the neck, armpit, groin or eyelids. They often grow in groups.
The methods used for skin tag removal include: Cryosurgery using liquid nitrogen, electrocautery with a hyfrecator or surgical excision.
Cost of non-surgical removal :
- Standard visit (<15 spots) $300 + GST
- Extended visit ( >15 spots) $450 + GST
Seborrheic Keratosis
Very common, warty skin overgrowths that increase with age which may have a “stuck-on” appearance.
Cost of non-surgical removal :
- Standard visit (<15 spots) $300 + GST
- Extended visit ( >15 spots) $450 + GST
Lipoma Removal
A lipoma is a soft fatty lump underneath the skin; often occurs in the abdomen, arms and legs.
Cost of removal:
- $300–400 + GST per lipoma removal
Cyst Removal
A cyst is a sac-like growth; often the contents in the cyst may consist of sebum, fat for example. Most cysts are benign.
Cost of removal:
- $300–400 + GST per cyst removal
Benign Mole Removal (Non-Cancerous moles)
Healthy, benign appearing mole due to location and size and unwanted growth.
Surgical excision is the safest and only method of removal. All moles excised are submitted for analysis as a precautionary measure

- $300 – 400 + GST per mole
